Sony Alpha 7R V New Camera

Baylorin– Sony officially launched their newest mirrorless camera, the Alpha 7R V (five) as the newest R series in their well-known lineup. This camera is equipped with the first AI (artificial intelligence) in Alpha cameras.

The Alpha 7R V incorporates Sony's highest resolution image sensor dedicated to AI-based image recognition. It is also equipped with the advanced BIONZ XR image processing engine, a first in the “R” full-frame lineup.

Koji Sekiguchi, President Director of PT Sony Indonesia, said that Sony camera users are growing. He said they wanted to explore to try new things by doing photography using an increasingly varied subject, including insects, animals, and sports activities.

The new Alpha 7R V offers 61.0MP resolution still images plus the most effective 8-step image stabilization system to date offered on any Sony Alpha camera.

The camera also features enhanced 8K movie output, a new 4-axis multi-angle monitor, high-speed communication functions, high-level operability, and seamless workflow integration.

This latest camera from Sony is ideal for professional photographers who need high-resolution imaging tools. It is also suitable for use by portrait and landscape photographers, both professional and enthusiast, as well as professional wedding photographers.

The Alpha 7R V has Real-time Recognition AF, which is the next generation of AF with advanced accuracy and wider subject recognition thanks to the AI processing unit.

Additionally, the Alpha 7R V also includes up to 10 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking. Focus features that support high resolution, including full-time DMF (direct manual focus), and focus bracketing are also embedded in it.

The Alpha 7R V is designed to deliver incredible detail thanks to the latest BIONZ XR image processing engine and a 35mm full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor with approx. 61.0 effective megapixels.

The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine ensures that the resolution potential of the camera sensor is fully utilized to deliver the highest resolution at low sensitivities.

This allows sensitivity adjustments from ISO 100 to ISO 32,000 for both stills and video, as well as a wide dynamic range of 15 stops for stills.

The Alpha 7R V will be available in Indonesia starting December 2022. However, pre-order purchases can be made from 15 November 2022 to 4 December 2022, which costs IDR 59,999,000 (body only or not including the lens).

By pre-ordering, customers will get one SD-Card CF Express Type A with a capacity of 160 GB which costs IDR 6,399,000 for free.

Sony also offers special promos for bundling purchases with lenses, such as a discount of Rp. 1,000,000 for the SEL35F14GM (Rp. 18,999,000) and SEL50F12GM (Rp. 24,999,000) types.
